Structural Makeup of the Vessel

The Wendy Dawn is a Fiberglass Hull Gillnetter built by Palmer Boats LTD. in the mid 70's. The decks are fiberglass as well as is the large insulated Fish Hold.



In 2014 I had Independent Shipwrights LTD. install Rolling Chocks and a 10" Hydraulic Bow Thruster to the hull.

This vastly improved the stability and maneuverability of the vessel while fishing and traveling.

I later added Poles and Stabilizers as the rolling chocks needed a little extra help in seas over 6' in height and/or tide slop in high winds. They really made riding a following sea a lot nicer as well.
